Alice C. Estes , D.V.M.
I am fortunate to live a life that has been filled with challenges, adventure, laughter and love that has led me to my passion, veterinary medicine. Prior to being admitted to Purdue University , I worked in the automotive service industry in Bethesda , Maryland . It was then that I learned how much I love to help people. Now that I am a veterinarian, I am so grateful to be in the position to help my clients as well as my patients! I have always been in awe of the human-animal bond, and I will do my best to fortify it any way I can.
While I love everything about veterinary medicine, my special interests include internal medicine, dentistry and pet therapy. I hope to explore these interests throughout my career in addition to challenging myself with the daily demands intrinsic to veterinary medicine. However, my main focus and responsibility will always remain with my patient and my client.
I am also very passionate about life outside the hospital. My family is very important to me, so spending time with them is a top priority. I love to go hiking and canoeing with my husband and yellow Labrador , Buck. Anything outdoors, warm weather or cold, is fine by me. I also enjoy cooking, watching movies, and listening to symphony and opera. On the flip side, I love old rock and roll, classic car shows (especially corvettes) and sporting events. I truly enjoy life and all that it has to offer!
As a new graduate of Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine, I am filled with excitement and enthusiasm. My goal is to practice excellent medicine that includes a gentle hand, compassion and thorough communication. I am so proud to be a part of this team at MRAH because we all share a common focus, the well being of our patients and the trust of our clients.
