History
of MRAH
From the beginning of our practice in 1957, we have seen ourselves as a dedicated group of professionals working together to do an excellent job for our clients, patients, and the profession. We treat pets like family and it's not just our slogan--we mean it! We are an honest, hardworking group of animal lovers, who are dedicated to serving your pets needs. We attribute our success within the community to our fine staff, our state-of-the-art equipment, our commitment to educate ourselves as well as our clients about pet health, and the variety of services we offer.
One of the strong points of our philosophy is our teamwork attitude and our emphasis on communication and client education. We believe in the delivery of top-notch service to our patients in a compassionate manner, as well as being caring and sensitive with our clients.
Our Mission:
Michigan Road Animal Hospital is an AAHA (American Animal Hospital Association) certified member animal hospital providing quality professional health care focusing on proactive and cost effective medicine for our patients and clients. Excellent quality care is carried out in a professional and caring manner by all staff.
MRAH has been an accredited member of AAHA since 1966. Part of being a member of AAHA requires our facility, equipment, and practice be inspected against a set of standards every four years by this governing agency. These standards include:
Orderly & accurate medical records |
Complete pharmacy facilities |
Proper anesthetic procedures |
Modern surgical facilities |
Nursing care |
Properly maintained environment |
Emergency services |
Dental services |
An AAHA member hospital becomes a part of an organized group of veterinarians participating in a voluntary program for the adoption of the highest standards for a veterinary hospital. The objective of this voluntary organization is to serve the professional interest of all veterinarians engaged in applying the principles and techniques of modern medicine and surgery to the care of companion animals.
We are proud to be members of such an elite organization that focuses on top-notch pet healthcare.
