Catherine Steinke of Sensible K9 provides puppy classes for our clients as well as the Indianapolis community. Here’s what she has to offer your family & your pup!
Puppy Start Class – for all puppies 8 weeks to 16 weeks. This class is a comprehensive “head start” program covering the 7 priorities of puppy training: Housebreaking, Socialization, Self-Control, Soft-mouth , Etiquette, Exam Training and Enrichment. Included in this 6-week class is a prioritized training manual packed with information to help you get your puppy off to a great start! Puppy Skills Class – for adolescent puppies 4 months and up who have attended Catherine’s Puppy Start class. This is an intensive, practical 4-week class focusing on Polite Greetings, Leash Manners, Come, and Stay. Positive methods are used to teach puppies how to focus on you, obey you and remember their training in distracting environments. Much emphasis is placed on the teamwork required to help your puppy succeed. This class includes games, a take-home sheet with homework tips and a guarantee to make you a better puppy trainer!
