Surgical Ward
(Operating Room & Recovery Room)

We have a large surgery room just down the hall from our treatment room that is sealed off from the rest of the hospital. It is spacious enough to perform multiple surgeries at the same time, if necessary. Pulse occimeters, heart rate monitors, the laser surgical unit, heated surgical tables, and the rest of our anesthesia & surgical equipment reside in this room.

Attached is a recovery/prep room, which is divided into two areas. A larger portion of the room is used to prepare pets for surgery on mobile surgical tables, to clean and sterilize instruments, and monitor pets while they are waking up from their anesthesia. The smaller portion of the room is reserved especially for our Doctors to change into their surgical gear and scrub up before surgical procedures.
