Dr. Genna Douthitt graduated from Purdue College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2022 and is thrilled to be back at MRAH 96th Street after completing an externship here during her senior year.

Genna was born and raised in Muncie, Indiana, and has wanted to be a veterinarian for as long as she can remember. She attended Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) for undergraduate studies where she earned her BA in Biology. Dr. Genna is excited to be back in the Indianapolis area fulfilling her lifelong dream. She is joining our team as a small animal general practitioner and has a particular interest in internal medicine and neurology.

Dr. Genna adores her family’s two dogs, Lebowski (a Boxer) and Sampson (a pit bull mix). She also recently adopted an adorable kitten named Enzo! Dr. Genna is ready to begin her journey as a veterinarian and share her love for animals with the MRAH at 96th St. community.
