Job Shadowing & Externships

The Doctors at Michigan Road Animal Hospital encourage those who want to learn about veterinary medicine to come learn with us! From elementary-aged to adult students in veterinary school, our doctors can be available to help potential future veterinarians.

We welcome job shadowers from elementary schools, high schools, trade schools, pre-vet college students, and veterinary students. With our help, these students are able to immerse themselves in the field and help them to learn and decide if veterinary medicine is right for them. Throughout the year you may see a student tagging along with one of our doctors trying to learn as much as they can about the veterinary field.

Here at Michigan Road Animal Hospital, we not only work with your pet but also with those who are less fortunate and are in need of a good home. Starting Over Airedale Rescue
